'한글'을 통해 바라본 도시

세종시에 있는 국세청과 소방청 사이에는 최유진 작가의 ‘한글’이라는 조형물이 있습니다. 저는 조형물의 뒤편에 서서 ‘한글’작품 너머의 세종시 모습을 담았습니다. 세종시에서는 한글로 된 아파트 단지 이름과 도로 이름을 자주 접할 수 있는데, 사진 속 아파트 단지 이름은 새뜸마을이고 도로 이름은 한누리대로, 어울로입니다. 한글의 정겹고 부드러운 어감 덕분인지 세종시의 모습이 한층 더 산뜻하게 느껴집니다.
'The City through Hangeul'
There is a sculpture between the National Tax Service and the National Fire Agency in Sejong City. It is a sculpture called 'Hangul' by Choi Yu-jin. Standing behind the sculpture, he filmed the scenery of Sejong City beyond the ""Hangul"" sculpture. In Sejong City, we can often see the names of apartment complexes and roads in Korean. The name of the apartment complex in the picture is Saeteo Village and the name of the road is Hannuri-daero and Eoul-ro. Sejong City's appearance is more refreshing, perhaps thanks to the friendly and soft tone of Hangeul.
