11. The first time I met Arirang
We're from Spain. The first time I saw the gayageum, I was captivated by its beautiful sound. Out of curiosity, I started learning how to play, but then I noticed unfamiliar characters written on the sheet music: Hangul. While practicing Arirang, I encountered Hangul frequently, sparking my interest in the Korean language and culture. Now, Arirang is my first encounter with Korea and Hangul.
