Video 5. Hangeul and King Sejong Exploration
I came up with the Korean alphabet (ㄴ, ㅁ, ㅇ), starting with familiar images in everyday life, such as chairs, paintings, and round shapes. As I became curious about the origin of letters, I came to Gwanghwamun Square to recognize the person who made Hangul. In the 'Sejong Story' exhibition hall, I could feel not only the answer to how Hangul was made, but also the love, firm will, and insight of King Sejong, the fourth king of the Joseon Dynasty, for his people. In his time, inventions related to astronomy, time, and music, as well as Hangul, developed together. And I ended this journey with an intense message.
