라오스는 바다가 없는 나라지만, 콕사앗 마을에서는 <암염>이라는 바위를 통해서 소금을 채취한다고 합니다. 이 곳 오지 마을은 선풍기도 구하기 힘든 곳이지만, 대한민국의 한글 부채가 마을 주민들에게 조금이라도 더위를 식혀주며 유용하게 쓰이는 것을 보고, 대한민국 국민으로써 뿌듯함과 자긍심을 느끼는 순간이 아닐까요?
Although Laos is a landlocked country, the people of Koksaat Village harvest salt from rocks known as “rock salt.”
This remote village has limited access to even basic items like electric fans.
But seeing how Korean Hangeul fans are helping villagers cool down, even just a little,
makes me feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude as a citizen of Korea.
